Winter holidays in the Allgäu

Getting active in the Allgäu winter is an exceptional experience. Skiers old and young are enjoying themselves on the pistes in a total of 43 ski areas with guaranteed snow in Allgäu and in neighbouring Tyrol.

On around 1000 km of classic cross-country trails and around 500 km skate runs, cross-country skiers glide soundlessly through the natural landscape. Snowshoe hikers, winter hikers or tourers find peace and quiet in the mountains. And if all you want to do is breathe the crystal-clear air and indulge yourself in one of the typical mountain huts, that's not a problem.
